All'interno del parco di Shiba (芝公園 Shiba-koen) e' situata questa torre panoramica e per le telecomunicazioni.
Costruita nel 1958 e e ispirata alla torre Eiffel ma con i classici colori bianco/arancio (dovuti alle norme di sicurezza).
Non essendo oggi sufficientemente alta per garantire la copertura del segnale nella citta', a causa dei molti grattacieli costruiti successivamente, e' poi stata costruita La Tokyo Sky Tree (東京スカイツリー Tokyo sukai tsuri)

Tokyo Tower is a communications and observation tower in the Shiba-koen. the structure is an Eiffel Tower-inspired lattice tower that is painted white and international orange to comply with air safety regulations.
Tokyo Tower today no longer gives complete digital terrestrial television broadcasting coverage because it is surrounded by high-rise buildings so for this was completed the new tower Skytree
