Shibasaki Kou (柴咲コウ)

Shibasaki Kou (柴咲コウ) (Tokyo, 5 August 1981) is a Japanese actress and pop singer. She started her career at 14 when her talent was discovered by an agent, and has worked in many TV shows and commercials. She became more famous thanks to her performance in the movie Battle Royale as Souma Mitsuko. She was going to be in Kill Bill and play Chiaki Kuriyama's charcter Go Go Yubari's sister but couldn't due to scheduling conflicts. Her lines were instead given to Go Go. Very famous for NOBUNAGA CONCERTO Drama 信長協奏.

 

Kou Shibasaki  柴咲コウ nata a Tokyo, 5 agosto 1981,e' un'attrice e cantante giapponese. A 12 anni viene scelta per alcune pubblicita' giapponesi e a 14 entra per la prima volta nel mondo dello spettacolo, interpretando diversi ruoli.

E' scelta per un ruolo fondamentale nel film Battle Royale e per questa complessa interpretazione viene scelta per altri film. Il regista Quentin Tarantino la sceglie infatti per un ruolo nel suo Kill Bill, ma l'attrice giapponese non cede alla proposta del regista statunitense. La Shibasaki, impegnata, rifiuta a malincuore il ruolo che verra' cancellato di Yuki, sorella gemella di Gogo Yubari, Kō esordisce come cantante con la Trust my feelings. Famosa per la serie NOBUNAGA CONCERTO !!
