Il 4 aprile e' Il giorno di Anpan! L'anpan (あんパン) e' un dolce giapponese pieno di anko (marmellata di fagioli rossi). Ma puo' avere altre varianti!
E' stato scelto questo giorno perche' Il 4 aprile 1875 i sakura anpan (桜餡パン) creati da Yasubei Kimura (decorati con un fiore di ciliegio al centro) vennero presentati all'imperatore, il quale ne fu cosi' colpito da ordinare che gli venissero serviti giornalmente!!

1875(明治8)年、木村家がはじめて明治天皇にあんぱんを献上したことから、記念日として制定されました。

4 April is Anpan Day!
Anpan (あんパン) is a Japanese sweet roll most commonly filled with red bean paste. But is possible prepare also in other way!
Why this day? Anpan was presented to the Meiji emperor on April 4, 1875 by Yasubei Kimura. The Emperor told Yasubei to present him anpan every day, and because of the rumor that the Emperor ate anpan, the popularity of bread, and especially anpan, began spreading around the country.
