16 Febbraio e' l'anniversario della carta meteorologica, in quanto nel 1883 sotto la guida del meteorologo tedesco Elvin Knipping, venne creata la prima cartina meteorologica del Giappone con sette colorazioni!
Il grafico del tempo doveva essere rilasciato una volta al giorno e venne pubblicato nelle fermate di Shinbashi e Yokohama dal 23 agosto!

天気図記念日 1883(明治16)年のこの日、ドイツ人の気象学者エリヴィン・クニッピングの指導のもと、7色刷りの日本初の天気図が作成された。 天気図は1日1回発行されることになり、8月23日からは新橋と横浜の停車場に掲示された。

16 February is Tenkizu kinenbi, Weather Maps Memorial Day
In this day (1883) , the first weather chart of Japan in seven colors was created.
The weather chart is to be issued once a day and was posted on the stop of Shinbashi and Yokohama from 23 August .
