14 giugno dedicato agli stati uniti... il Flag Day, e' infatti il Giorno della bandiera, per ricordare che Il 14 giugno 1777 a Philadelphia (Pennsylvania), gli Stati Uniti d’America (che all’epoca erano formati da solo 13 Stati) adottavano ufficialmente la bandiera a 13 stelle e 13 strisce (Stars and Stripes)
Per quanto riguarda il Giappone, il nome ufficiale della bandiera giapponese in giapponese è Nisshōki (日 章 旗: bandiera del sole), ma è più comunemente noto come Hi no maru (日の丸: cerchio solare).

In the United States, June 14 is the Flag Day which commemorates the adoption of the flag of the United States. On June 14, 1777 the Second Continental Congress decided the 13 stars and 13 stripes flag as the American flag.
Japanese flag's official name in Japanese is Nisshōki (日章旗, the "sun-mark flag"), but is more commonly known in Japan as Hi no maru (日の丸, the "circle of the sun").
