Il 26 dicembre e' il giorno dei Giants. In questo giorno nel 1934 nacque la piu' antica squadra di baseball nipponica professionista, The Great Japan Tokyo Baseball Club che verra' poi conosciuta come Yomiuri Giants.

26 December is Giants Day!
The Yomiuri Giants (読売ジャイアンツ Yomiuri Jaiantsu) are a professional baseball team based in Bunkyo, Tokyo, Japan. The Giants are the oldest team among the current Japanese professional teams.
The team began 26/12/1934 as The Great Japan Tokyo Baseball Club (大日本東京野球倶楽部 Dai-Nippon Tōkyō Yakyū Kurabu).
