Sessho-seki (殺生石)

「悪事をはたらく九尾の狐が復活しないといいけど」

Sesshō-seki 殺生石 o Pietra Assassina si trova nelle montagne di Nasu, nella prefettura di Tochigi.
Secondo le leggende del 12° secolo, la Pietra ospita un malvagio spirito volpe a nove code (Tamamo-no-Mae), una kitsune, yōkai.
Ella lavorava per un malvagio daimyō, che voleva assassinare l'Imperatore Konoe e prenderne il trono.
Ma quando la donna-volpe fu uccisa dal guerriero Miura-no-suke, il suo corpo divenne lo Sesshō-seki, che secondo le storie uccide chiunque la tocchi.
Il 5 marzo 2022 la pietra è stata trovata divisa in due parti, probabilmente a causa degli agenti atmosferici naturali…. Ma … con la pietra ora rotta, alcuni credono che lo spirito sia di nuovo libero di devastare il mondo. ^o^

殺生石（せっしょうせき）は、栃木県那須町の那須湯本温泉付近に存在する溶岩である。
付近一帯に火山性ガスが噴出し、昔の人々が「生き物を殺す石」だと信じたことからその名がある。
2022年3月5日に殺生石が二つに割れていることが確認された。
….. なんと岩は真っ二つに割れて、縄も外れていました。 漫画だったらまさに封印が解かれて九尾の狐に取り憑かれるパターンで、見てはいけないものを見てしまった気がします。

The Sessho-seki (殺生石) "Killing Stone", is a stone on the mountains of Nasu, in Tochigi Prefecture.
The stone is believed to be the transformed corpse of Tamamo-no-Mae, a beautiful woman who was exposed as a nine-tailed fox working for an daimyō plotting to kill Emperor Toba and take his throne. But when the nine-tailed fox was killed by the warrior Miura-no-suke, its body became the Sessho-seki
On March 5, 2022 that the stone had split into two parts, likely as a result of natural weathering…. But with the stone now broken, is possible that the spirit is again free to ravage the world?? ^^
