2 Luglio e' il giorno del Polipo! Tako!
Questa ricorrenza e' dovuta piu' alla stagione che al polipo in se stesso. In quanto essendo la stagione delle piogge e' una buona stagione per i prodotti agricoli. Allora la Japan Anniversary Academy decise di dedicare questo giorno al polipo sperando che un sacco di prodotti agricoli si radicino sulla terra proprio come fa il nostro polpo.
Una ricorrenza uguale avviene l'8 Agosto.. ma con differente significato!

7月2日は、蛸の日(たこのひ)です。関西地方では7月2日頃の半夏生に蛸を食べる人が多いことから、
蛸研究会が制定しました。

2 July is Octopus day! This more for the season than for the octopus. Because around this season is rainy season and is good for farm products. So Japan Anniversary Academy decided that they hope lots of farm products take root on the earth like octopus (tako).
8th August there is same anniversary but with different meaning!
